Your questions answered

Shipping and Returns

How long does my order take to ship?

We usually take 3-5 working days to prepare orders, and our standard shipping option is 2nd class untracked with Royal Mail, with option to upgrade to 1st class untracked at the checkout. We are aware there are delays with delivery at this time, so please be patient!

What is your return policy?

Each product is handcrafted by us, so there may be slight differences in appearance compared to our photography on here. However, if your product arrives and is defective or damaged, please let us know by contacting us through our form within 14 days of receipt and we will look into refunding or exchanging for you.

Can I order a gift for someone else from you?

Absolutely—just let us know if you’d like us to add in a personalised gift message at the checkout.

Do you offer collection or delivery in Bromley?

We do indeed—we can offer COVID-19 safe drop-off deliveries in the BR1 area (subject to availability), and are open for collections too. To arrange, please contact us via the form on our website and drop us a DM on Instagram with your order.

Do you offer international shipping?

Sadly not at the moment as it is too expensive for us at this time. Sorry international friends!

Sustainability

What ingredients do you use in your products?

Our candles are made from natural high grade soya wax, and we only use vegan or cruelty-free fragrance oils. Our bath and body products are made from naturally occurring ingredients and scented with natural essential oils. Our bath salts and bath bombs contain dried plant and flower botanicals, which can be used as compost.

What materials do you use in your packaging?

Our packaging is reusable, recyclable or recycled, from our bath salt glass jars and biodegradable bags, to our acid-free tissue paper and recycled soap boxes. Our soaps come wrapped in a biodegradable plastic film to absorb any moisture en route to you—this can be put in with your compost.

In our postage packaging, we use recyclable parcel tape, recyclable cardboard boxes, and green biodegradable bubble wrap for fragile items. The stuffing in our postal boxes has been recycled and is recyclable, and some orders are packed with biodegradable wood wool. Wherever we use clear bubble wrap, this has been recycled from packaging that we have received.

Our candle safety care sheets and our notecards are made from recycled and recyclable paper. Our stamp is made from reclaimed beech wood, and the inkpad we use is vegan.

COVID-19

What COVID-19 safety measures are you taking?

We are taking extra precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic, alongside the standard hygiene and safety measures of washing and sanitising our hands before and after touching any product. All equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before and after use. All items are sent with pre-printed postage labels to avoid any contact at Royal Mail delivery drop-off points.

Candle care and safety

How can I use my candle safely?

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended or out of sight.

  • Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.

  • Keep candles out of the reach of children, vulnerable people and pets.

  • Keep the wax pool clear of matches, wick trimmings and other debris. Before burning, you are advised to remove any large botanical pieces.

  • Trim candlewicks to 5mm each time before burning.

  • Do not place candles in a draft or near vents.

  • Never touch or move a candle while it is burning or while the wax is liquefied.

  • Don’t burn a candle all the way down.

  • Use a candle snuffer to extinguish a candle. Never use water to extinguish a candle.

  • Always leave at least three inches between burning candles.

  • For more information, visit the British Candlemakers Federation or the U.S. National Candle Association.

We are insured, and every candle made by us comes with a care and safety sheet containing the following information, as well as CLP labelling and warning information on the candle itself.

What are your tips for candle care?

  • Before burning, you are advised to remove any large botanical pieces.

  • On the first burn, trim the wick down to at least 5mm. Soya wax has a "memory" so to prevent tunnelling, let the candle burn for long enough to melt the entire top layer of wax on the first burn.

  • If you're having trouble lighting the wood wick, try trimming the wick down and lighting all the way across the wick, as well as keeping the candle well away from drafts and vents.

  • You may notice some 'frosting' on the surface of your candle — this is a perfectly natural process, and is also a sign that your candle is made of 100% natural soya wax. It does not affect the performance of your candle.

  • Any other questions regarding candle care, please feel free to contact us.

Skincare product care and safety

Are your skincare products safety-assessed?

Every bath and body product has received a cosmetic safety assessment and has a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR). Full ingredients can be found on the packaging and labelling for every product.

All our skincare products (including all bath and body products and soaps) are for external use only, and are not for application to the mucous membranes or on broken skin. Avoid eye contact, and if irritation occurs, discontinue use.

How can I store my products?

We recommend storing our bath and body products in cool, dry places, especially during warmer summer months. For our Natural Body Moisturiser Bars, we recommend storing in the fridge during the summer.
